Weight check

We had another weight/color check today. Pierce has gained 3 1/2 ounces in 2 days and is at 6 lbs 15 ounces, which is great news. He's getting plenty to eat (as he should be since we feed every 2-3 hours!!) They said his bilirubin level is still a little higher than they like to see (this is what determines if they are jaundiced) so she recommended letting him sleep by the window so he is exposed to some sunlight. Of course he has to sleep in nothing but his diaper, which he's not too fond of, but it will hopefully pay off. She said it's nothing to be super concerned about as a lot of breastfed babies have this problem, but she wanted to nip it in the bud before we had to change our "routine." He had a good feeding when we got home from the doctor and has been wide awake for the last hour...he's fighting sleep, I guess he thinks he's going to miss something =) Here are some pictures of him "sunning" himself, though he seemed to prefer being outside in the sun. We didn't spend too long out there because I didn't want him to get sunburned.
