2 month checkup

Pierce had his 2 month checkup today and he is a growing boy! He weighed in at 11 lbs 15.5 oz (5oth percentile) and was 24 1/4 inches long (90th percentile.) He is definitely getting enough to eat! He is very active when he's awake and loves the light up star on his playmat, if often keeps him occupied for up to an hour. His neck muscles are getting stronger every day and he's getting better at holding his head up. He's found his fist and often tries to fit the entire thing in his mouth, resulting in lots of slobber everywhere. We are excited to be going to MN in a couple weeks so everyone can meet him. Sheldon will be there for a weekend and I get to stay for a whole 10 days. It will be nice to not have to rush around to see everyone...as well as have lots of babysitters if I DO want to rush anywhere =)
