Trip to MN
So, the weekend before last, we were in MN visiting family and enjoying cooler weather. We had good flights, thankfully they weren't completely booked and we were able to have a row to ourselves each way...this made it much easier to deal with an active toddler!! Our flight home was VERY early and Pierce slept for almost half of it, which made it even better. We had a great time visiting family and relaxing but it was also nice to get home and into our own beds. Pierce adjusted rather quickly to sleeping in a different bed, but I could tell that he was happy to get back to his own crib as well. The weather was about 15 degrees cooler than it had been in Texas so we enjoyed plenty of time outside. Our last day there, we were able to go to Como Park Zoo. The park wasn't crowded because it was during the week, which let us see the animals without having to deal with a crowd. I don't know that Pierce will remember it, but he seemed to enjoy it when we were there. Like my friend Suzanne's post a while back, Como Park still has the machines that make the plastic animals so I of course had to re-live my elementary school days and buy one...though the price has significantly gone up to $2.00!!! Here are a ton of pics =)
